Senior spotlights for afternoon Computer Maintenance and Networking. We love to see their accomplishments and their bright futures ahead!
Phlebotomy morning class is in need of volunteers! Each student needs 30 successful venipunctures (blood draw) for certification. They are about halfway. Please contact lschrader@lexr5.org or call 660-259-2264. Hours available are 8:30am-10:30am March 12-14. We are closed next week for spring break.
Mr.Harden's Collision Repair class have been learning estimating this week. Pictured are Brayden Elliott (Norborne)and Kaden McGinnis (Hardin-Central) applying those skills and doing an X-ray tear down on a vehicle involved in a deer collision!

The Lexington R-V School district is excited to share that the Board of Education has selected Jason Whitt as the new Principal of Lexington High School for the 2025-26 school year. Dr. Whitt has previously served as LHS Principal from 2017-2021. Dr. Whitt has served as a Biology and Physical Education Teacher and Coach, Summer School Administrator, Principal and Assistant Superintendent during his 23 year career. His support and advocating for At-Risk student populations is evident and his ability to push students to their full potential has a proven track record, all while supporting and cultivating staff members.
Dr. Whitt is the husband of Sheri, who is a Math teacher and the very proud father of his 2 year old daughter Eastyn. He has a familiarity with the Lexington Community and the families of the Lexington R-V School District that will be helpful in this time of transition.
Dr. Whitt will officially assume his new role on July 1, 2025. Please join us in welcoming him back to our community!
